555n (they/it) is a hybrid performer existing between human expression and machine amplification. Created by electronic and post-classical experimental artist Gadi Sassoon, 555n combines a live musician with a custom-built AI system that responds to the artist in real time, transforming and amplifying their intentions across sound, visuals and robotics to create a new form of human-machine performance.

Part artist, part instrument, and part artwork, 555n challenges the polarising discourse around performance and authorship. Blending cyberpunk aesthetics with electronic music, narrative, code and experimental art, the project has gained recognition for its genre-defying releases and immersive live shows.

Creator Gadi Sassoon has collaborated with artists including Reeps One, NAVA, MACE, Coldcut, and Shingai Shoniwa.
